Nasho Fair Go recently provided a submission to the Federal Government’s Parliamentary Joint Committee on Defence’s Inquiry into the annual report of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs 2024–25.

For reference, the Committee has identified the following areas of focus:

1. Departmental claims handling processes, outcomes and performance
2. Progress on implementation of recommendations of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide
3. Progress and outcomes towards legislative harmonisation in the Veterans Affairs’ portfolio
4. Establishment and operations of the Defence and Veterans’ Service Commission
5. Other issues as communicated to the Department at the will of the committee
